Dinner with MSF at the École Hôtelière

Wednesday, March 7, 2018 - 19:15
École hôtelière de Genève, Avenue de la Paix

It was a full house in the Salle Dunant at the Vieux Bois restaurant where, after an excellent meal, members and guests heard about the work of Médecins sans Frontières from senior officers of the organisation. Rafa Carrascosa told how MSF operates, independently of politics, race, religion and culture, Els Torreele told of the global drive for equitable access to drugs and medical care, and Ante Wind told how field workers overcome the diverse difficulties constantly facing them to be greeted with 'thumbs up' from those waiting. Their commitment was palpable and they fielded incisive questions from the floor with great skill. The Q&A photo shows, l to r, club President, Simon Roper, and the MSF quartet, Rafa, Els, Ante and Damien Huaux who helped plan this successful evening.
